Background
Michael Young is a Director with more than a decade of experience working in financial valuation. He joined Marshall & Stevens in 2024 with the acquisition of Acuity Advisors.
Michael’s grit and attention to detail have been critical in successfully executing ESOP transactions, rendering fairness opinions, performing annual ESOP valuations, and providing other investment banking and valuation advisory services. His colleagues and clients rely on his detailed and thoughtful approach to every engagement and his determination to exceed expectations and provide unmatched support and service.
Michael is responsible for performing in-depth financial, economic, and industry analysis and has worked with companies spanning a broad range of industries including construction and engineering, retail, manufacturing, distribution and business services.
Prior to joining Marshall & Stevens, Michael worked as an analyst and underwriter in the specialty finance division of a federally chartered bank in San Diego.
