Background

Karen Romrell is a Director with Lone Peak Valuation Group, a Marshall & Stevens company. She works primarily in litigation support.

Ms. Romrell’s work focuses on measuring economic damages in commercial litigation cases, and she has testified as an expert witness in Federal Court and Utah State Court. Her experience in litigation support includes intellectual property, breach of contract, defamation, and business valuation issues, among others.

In addition, she has experience in business valuation and appraisal services for mergers and acquisitions, gift and estate taxes, employee stock plans (ESOP), financial reporting, charitable contributions, SBA loans. Ms. Romrell also spent a number of years in the financial services industry as an analyst, originator, loan officer, and underwriter.
