Joshua J. Gifford

Joshua Gifford is a Director with over ten years of experience in in business valuation, fraud investigations, and tax services. He joined Marshall & Stevens in 2023 with the acquisition of Rocky Mountain Advisory.

Mr. Gifford performs business valuations, fraud investigations, investigative accounting, lost profits and economic damages analyses, and bankruptcy case work.

Mr. Gifford is an expert in preparing tax returns for various entities, and handling tax-related issues for businesses and individuals in Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

He also has experience in preparing business valuations for companies in a wide range of industries. Mr. Gifford has performed fair market value valuations for estate tax, gift tax, potential transactions, marital estate dissolutions, oppressed shareholder, and other disputes in litigation settings.

Mr. Gifford’s experience in cases of fraud includes investigations of Ponzi schemes, investigations of suspected embezzlement, and discovery of indicia of alter ego and two separate corporations operating as one. He has prepared and rebutted calculations of lost profits and economic damages in various business disputes.
