Background
Dr. David Francom is an economic damages expert with more than two decades of experience in business, economics, and intellectual property consulting. His experience includes analysis on unjust enrichment, asset valuation, market share, lost profits, and reasonable royalty damages across a wide range of industries, including medical devices, healthcare, technology, financial services, consumer products, and food sciences.
Dr. Francom has prepared numerous Rule 26 expert reports and has provided testimony at deposition and at trial in U.S. federal and state courts. His work includes complex analyses involving patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and commercial disputes.
Prior to founding Applied Economics Consulting, Dr. Francom held senior positions at LECG and Campos & Stratis. He is a qualified FINRA arbitrator and previously worked in investment brokerage and banking, holding NASD licensure as a registered representative and general securities principal. He has presented internationally on innovation methods and teaches university-level economics.
