PRESENT POSITION
Nishen Radia leads Marshall & Stevens Incorporated, a premier national valuation consulting, transaction advisory and litigation support founded in 1932.
EXPERIENCE
Mr. Radia’s experience includes advising founders, entrepreneurs, private equity firms and public companies on their most important strategic and financial decisions. He co-founded FocalPoint Partners in 2002 and helped build it into one of the leading middle-market investment banks in the United States. Following the successful acquisition of FocalPoint by B. Riley Financial in 2022, he served as Co-Head of M&A, advising clients across mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, restructurings and other complex corporate finance transactions.
Throughout his career, Mr. Radia has focused on building businesses as well as advising them, including developing high-performing teams, cultivating long-term client relationships and helping companies navigate important periods of growth and change.
Prior to FocalPoint, Mr. Radia was an investment banker for Merrill Lynch in London, New York and Hong Kong, leading teams on a range of transactions including public mergers, divestitures, hostile takeovers, financings and IPOs. He started his career in the Investment Banking division of Societe Generale, based in London.

Mr. Radia earned an MBA with Distinction from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and graduated with Honors in Economics from the University of Bristol, England.
An active member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), he has held several leadership roles, including Chapter Chair of the Santa Monica Bay Chapter. Mr. Radia has appeared on national television to discuss mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and broader economic trends.
He serves on the board of the Spanish Peaks Foundation in Big Sky, Montana. Previous board leadership includes serving as Chairman of the Valley Economic Development Center (VEDC), one of the nation’s largest nonprofit lenders, and as a director of luxury skincare brand Kate Somerville, where he advised on governance, strategy, and financial matters.
