Mark W. Santarsiero

Mark Santarsiero is a member of the Board of Directors of Marshall & Stevens. He also serves on our internal Fairness and Solvency Opinions committee.

Mr. Santarsiero served as President and Chief Executive of Marshall & Stevens from January 2000 through August 2026. Prior to 2000, he served as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and as national practice leader for the Financial Valuation & Consulting practice for Marshall & Stevens.

As President and CEO, Mr. Santarsiero led the recapitalization of Marshall & Stevens in 2022 with Pine Tree Equity, and again in 2026 with Coalesce Capital. He was a member of the executive team that led the employee buyout of Marshall & Stevens from its corporate parent Societe Generale de Surveillance (SGS) in 1985.

Under Mr. Santarsiero’s leadership, Marshall & Stevens acquired nine complementary firms from 2023 through 2025. These transactions greatly increased the team of specialists available and diversified the valuation consulting services offered to our clients and their advisors.

Mr. Santarsiero has also served as President of MS Capital, the investment banking practice of Marshall & Stevens. He is responsible for multiple buy/sell and recapitalization transactions for MS Capital clients.

Mr. Santarsiero started his career as an accountant for two CPA firms where he worked in audit, tax and management advisory services.

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS   

Mr. Santarsiero serves on the Board of Trustees of University of Scranton, a former member of the University’s Accounting Department Professional Council, and served as executive-in-residence for the Kania School of Management.
