James Ringwald

James Ringwald is a Director with more than twenty years working in business valuation. He joined Marshall & Stevens in the beginning of 2025.

Mr. Ringwald has been providing business valuation services continuously since 2005, and he has completed more than 700 business valuation projects across a breadth of industries and purposes. He has been a presenter on valuation topics, written articles, and provided valuation expert witness testimony. He brings a unique tax background to his practice having completed 19 tax busy seasons, where he gained broad experiences, while specializing in estate, gift, and fiduciary taxation.

Mr. Ringwald earned a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rockhurst University. He is a graduate of the St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership program.

Mr. Ringwald assists clients in business valuation and litigation support issues, including buy/sell, estate planning, management planning, marital dissolution, phantom and employee stock ownership plans, mergers and acquisitions, SBA loans, and shareholder actions.
