Ellie Tinoco is a Managing Director in the Financial Valuation and Consulting Practice of Marshall & Stevens Incorporated. She is responsible for financial and multidisciplinary valuation assignments in the Northeast Region.
Ms. Tinoco has been in the financial valuation industry since 1996. She has extensive experience in the valuation of business enterprises, debt and convertible debt instruments, intangible assets, trademarks and trade names, patents, technology licensing agreements and related contracts, complex securities, common stock, preferred stock, restricted stock units, performance-based shares, options and warrants (e.g. Black-Scholes Option Model).
She provides Fairness Opinions for public and private companies including deSPAC transactions. Her Solvency Opinion assignments are often provided for private equity dividend recapitalization transactions.
Clients include private equity funds, public and private companies in the following industries: consumer products, food and beverage, life sciences, media, renewable energy, technology, telecommunication industries. Analyses are provided for financial reporting, tax planning and reporting, buy/sell consideration, financing and recapitalization. She is bilingual and services multiple foreign clients.
Prior to joining Marshall & Stevens in 2019, Ms. Tinoco’s career was spent in the valuation practice of public accounting firms including Arthur Andersen LLP, Deloitte & Touche LLP, BDO USA LLP, and CohnReznick LLP as well as at the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“AICPA”). Her experience working for audit firms provides a great advantage to our financial reporting clients.
Ms. Tinoco earned a Master’s in Finance and Financial Analysis from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Finance from Florida International University.
