What This Role Will Do

As a Senior Manager, Valuations, you will:

  • Conduct detailed valuations of businesses, assets, and projects across various industries, including financial modeling, discounted cash flow analysis, and market comparables.
  • Prepare and/or oversee the preparation of valuation reports, financial analyses, and presentations for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
  • Stay informed on market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging valuation methodologies.
  • Manage client relationships, providing expert opinions and personalized valuation services.
  • Leverage your existing book of business and develop new client relationships to grow the firm’s presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and perform business valuations for various purposes including mergers and acquisitions, tax planning, and financial reporting.
  • Analyze financial statements, industry data, and market trends to provide accurate valuation reports.
  • Communicate findings and valuation conclusions to clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies through written reports and presentations.
  • Engage in business development efforts to grow the firm’s portfolio.
  • Stay current with evolving valuation standards and methodologies.

What Makes You Successful in This Role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s/MBA preferred).
  • Relevant certifications (CFA, ASA, CPA, ABV, or similar) strongly preferred.
  • 7+ years of business valuation experience, with a proven ability to generate business through an existing client base.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and internal teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial modeling, market trends, and valuation methodologies.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: You thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment where we all roll up our sleeves both strategically and tactically. You are comfortable with ambiguity and take initiative to drive results.
