JOB TITLE: Senior Associate / Manager / Senior Manager
PRACTICE: Machinery & Equipment
Marshall & Stevens is a privately-owned multidiscipline valuation firm founded in 1932. We are driven by passionate professionals who enjoy analytics, telling the story of each unique business, meeting the needs of our clients and who are shareholders in Marshall & Stevens.
The Machinery & Equipment practice provides independent valuation opinions to a diverse portfolio of public and private companies. Most of our work is referred to us by attorneys, accountants, investors, and past clients who rely on the quality and integrity of our analyses. Many of our recent experienced hires are international audit firm alumni who are seeking a different experience.
Assignments include analyses for financial reporting (primarily purchase price allocation and impairment testing), as well as the valuation of assets for debt and equity investment, equipment finance, insurance placement, property tax, lifeing studies, and matters of dispute.
QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates should have valuation experience at a valuation firm or audit firm valuation practice in support of financial reporting, tax reporting, transaction advisory, or matters of dispute.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree required. A Master’s degree or a professional designation or certification such as ASA or Chartered Surveyor.
REQUIREMENTS: Legal US citizen or resident – must be permitted to work and travel in the US without the need for a sponsor.
Must have excellent English verbal and written communication skills and the ability to commute or travel to one of our offices.
REPORTING: Managing Director
LOCATIONS: We have offices in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, or Tampa.
COMPENSATION: Salaries range between $75,000 – $175,000 annually depending upon experience.
Performance bonuses are paid quarterly.
