Michael W. Bammel

Mr. Bammel, Managing Director of the Structured Finance practice at Marshall & Stevens Incorporated, is responsible for performing and managing valuations for financing and investment, project development,
financial reporting, and tax planning and reporting purposes. Mr. Bammel is a seasoned energy valuation professional with over $30 billion of domestic and international assets and portfolios including utility-scale and commercial-scale renewable energy projects. He has prepared tangible and intangible asset valuations, as well as business valuations and cost segregation analyses for energy production assets, energy companies, and heavy industry. Mr. Bammel has developed utility service offerings for energy efficiency, demand response, and renewable energy, and consulted on smart-grid implications. He has been published in recognized trade and industry publications on such subjects as valuation of gas turbines, competitive renewable energy systems, and hybrid PV and thermal systems.



Prior to joining Marshall & Stevens, Mr. Bammel held a similar position at Deloitte & Touche, LLP. He also accumulated over 20 years of work in the energy industry working at Fortune 500 companies
including GPU, Inc. (now First Energy Corp.), Conergy USA, and Honeywell International. While at Conergy USA, Mr. Bammel developed utility scale and commercial renewable energy projects.
He was part of a cross-functional team that began Honeywell’s solar business offering. While developing solar projects, he was responsible for land acquisition, interconnection studies, regulatory approvals,
negotiating PPAs and other agreements, pricing and valuation, arranging financing, and overseeing the project schedule.



Mr. Bammel holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from New York University; Bachelor of Arts in Economics from State University of New York, Buffalo. He has also achieved Green Belt in Six Sigma +. and is a member of American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. and the American Society of Appraisers-applicant.
